You will hunt hardwood creek bottoms and white oak hills and bluffs. The woods are surrounded with fields of standing corn, soybeans and clover. We have Mossey Oak biologic planted to help with antler growth and have managed the land for many years. Our private owned and leased land is home to some of Southern Illinois great Pope and Young bucks.

I'm sure most bowhunters know that hunting large whitetail bucks with a bow is the fastest growing hunting sport in America. It is becoming harder and harder to find a place where there is great Pope and Young bucks. Even in parts of southern Illinios hunters do not manage the herds in their area right. Shooting a 2 year old buck is a big mistake if you ever expect to harvest a huge buck.
On the right of this page you will see some bucks that are a product of herd management. Mike and myself have been letting the small bucks walk by for several years now and it has paid off. We want to invite you and your friends to come and hunt at what we believe to be some of the best hunting in Jefferson Co.
